Winter holidays
with wow factor.

Walk through romantic snowy landscapes, glide on two runners or carve down the slopes in classic style? Skiing, cross-country skiing, tobogganing or snowshoe hiking, winter holidays in Valli di Tures e Aurina make snow hearts beat faster - and all this in the immediate vicinity of the Mühlenerhof. After active winter fun, marvel at the glow of lights at the romantic Valle Tures forest Christmas, relax in the soothing warmth of the saunas and end the day with leisurely evenings.

Skiing: Eye to eye with happiness.

The state-of-the-art lifts and cable cars just around the corner take you to a lofty 2,510 metres altitude in just a few minutes. Get off at the top, strap on your skis and immerse yourself in the fun on the slope: wonderfully gentle, soft as cotton wool and blissful.

The Speikboden ski area in the immediate vicinity of the Mühlenerhof, together with the Klausberg ski arena and the village lifts of Rio Bianco and Riva di Tures together form the Skiworld Ahrntal with over 76 kilometres of pistes and 21 lifts and cable cars. They all offer top quality in every respect, such as the cable car with the greatest elevation gain on Speikboden, the highest eight-person cable car in South Tyrol on Klausberg and the probably smartest-smallest ski areas in Riva di Turesa and Rio Bianco. Gentle skiing holidays: Skiers, carvers and boarders find downhill fun far away from crowded slope highways in the four ski areas of Valle Aurina, families with children appreciate the accessibility.

If the slopes on your doorstep are not enough, spend a day skiing on Plan de Corones in the Dolomites, a 20-minute drive from the Mühlenerhof.

In the winter, this famous mountain in Val Pusteria is considered the top skiing mountain in South Tyrol, with its wide, almost treeless slopes, 119 kilometres of pistes and 32 state-of-the-art lifts and cable cars. In terms of types of pistes, everything is on offer for beginners, occasional and expert skiers. Long valley runs for wide, leisurely turns as well as the five black slopes that demand excellent skill even from experts.

Cross country skiing,
Nordic style
on narrow skis.

For everyone who can only imagine winter on two ridiculously narrow boards, perfectly groomed cross-country skiing bliss awaits you on 80 kilometres of high-altitude trails in the Valli di Tures e Aurina:

In Riva di Tures at 1,600 metres altitude, four different tracks of varying degrees of difficulty are maintained. The new biathlon training centre is surrounded by extensive cross-country skiing trails.

The 16-kilometre Selva dei Molini-Lappago trail starts a few kilometres from the Mühlenerhof. It runs across meadows and fields and past rustic mountain farms.

The alpine village of Rio Bianco at 1300 metres altitude attracts many guests with its 10 km long cross-country ski trail. The offer is completed by the sunny cross-country ski trail at the head of the valley at Casere and Chiesa di Santo Spirito.
