Annas Easter bread

 

This do you need (for 4 person)

2 tbsp anise, 1 cube of yeast, 60 g sugar, 200 ml lukewarm milk, 40g soft butter, 400 g flour, 2 tsp salt

 

This is how your Easter bread succeeds

For the pre-dough, crumble the yeast in the lukewarm milk with sugar and cover it in a warm place (e.g. in the oven at 35 ° C) to make double.

If nothing happens in a quarter to half an hour, your yeast is no longer active and can no longer be used.

Mix all the remaining ingredients, form a trough and add the batter.

Knead the dough well with the kneading machine for 5 to 10 minutes until it is smooth and smooth.

Cover and let rest for about an hour.

Form a loaf of bread and gently flatten it, give it some rest, then gently push the star pattern in with a fork and brush the surface with water.

Bake on a baking sheet lined with baking paper in the preheated oven at 200 degrees top and bottom heat or 180 degrees convection for 25 minutes.
